What are the "Citrus+" chapters at the end of the volumes?

I'm getting confused, since the continuation of the series is called exactly the same way, "Citrus+."

The citrus+ chapters are small stories adding details to the main story Line,and yes, citrus+ the manga does the same only with way longer subplots and additions.

Oh, now I understand. That means that both Citrus+ (the bonus chapters and the separate series) add background to the story but they don't build an entire new thing that wasn't in the main 41 chapters, right?

The additions do give new insight and elaborate on previous stories, so while they do not add completely new content on the base story, they do add to the story. I do hope to see more content from the 'skipped section' between the relation start and their marriage.

Interesting enough Citrus+ is higher rated in lists then Citrus, but this could be due to the fact only more dedicated readers are likely to pick it up. I'm looking forward to volume 4 which I expect Nov 2022.
