Just today when reading jjk manga something just came to mind. What if I won't enjoy the anime when it comes out because of the fact that I now know what's all gonna happen. And also if I don't continue reading, what if I get spoiled by some random post on the internet?

What's your approach on this one? or do you just prefer consuming one medium over the other?

Well I actually had this problem a couple years ago. Basically I read every manga under the sun then realised what I did so I haven't read manga in 2 years. but since then I have spoiled most anime being released for the past 2 years like this season I am spoiled for 6 anime and I havent even read anything in 2 years! xD So my approach now is not to read manga unless they have a famously bad anime adaptation like Berserk or won't get one or is a series I am all in on like Rezero. :p

Well it really depends on the show. For instance I both read and watch One Piece (i also do this with other shows). I really enjoy reading manga and light novels for the single reason that if something gets adapted poorly then I would be missing out on so much. It's also really epic to get to watch moments like ep 1015 in One Piece because its just brings a different vibe watching it rather than reading it. It really just comes down to how you like to comsume your entertainment
To address the spoilers part about when you stop reading something. That is just terribly difficult. I generally don't tend to look at things that have anime/manga I don't want spoiled. An example of that is MHA anytime i see anything slightly manga related come up on my fyp I just skip it to avoid spoilers as much as possible.
Hope I was of some assistance here :D

yeah, I also just got back into reading because of that HUGE black clover spoiler last week. like almost everytime I refresh on facebook. it pops up. and me like: "wth? i need to read the manga rn!" hahaha. then I read it and also read other manga titles then when I read jjk this thought just came to mind hahha.

to be fair. i dont read manga enough at all. i did read a few volumes of bleach cuz i happened to find an actual book of mangas it self. ^^ and then i also watched like 70 episodes.

i did watch wotakoi first and then i went in to read the manga i can say. normally i prefer books over movies/anime. ^^ but i never really compared them.

like sure i watched harry potter a million times and i only started to read books now. the first book and movie are pretty accurate. :D

overall i think reading is better because you get more information and detailes in it ^^.

but watching something is easier :D

for me, I really prefer watching... but also liked reading because of avoiding spoilers and also sometimes the manga's art is better.

maybe i'll just need to think of what titles i'll go watch as an anime only :)
