 Production company Avex Pictures opened an official website for a television anime adaptation of Kokone Nata's Cool Doji Danshi (Play It Cool, Guys) manga on Friday, revealing the main staff, cast, a teaser visual (pictured), and teaser promotional video. Nata began posting the manga on her pixiv account in February 2019 and subsequently switched to Gangan pixiv in June that year. The fourth volume shipped on November 22. Yen Press licensed the manga in English in September 2020 and released the second volume on June 29. The third volume is scheduled to ship on May 24. Cool Doji Danshi ranked among the top 20 titles in the 2020 Kono Manga ga Sugoi! rankings in the female readers' category. Synopsis They're so goofy, they're cool. Enter: a group of cool guys who seem like they've got that unapproachable swag. But look closer and you'll find a bunch of dorks who've gotten the act down pat. So sit back, grab some popcorn, and enjoy watching these clumsy dudes try to look cool all day, every day.
