This dumb childs make me so angry, like who tf actually cares about them going on a journey? I feel like these boring ass kids, have more screen time than Shiroe has had in both seasons, which makes me so angry, because this show could've been so good. I'm still going to complete the show, but I probably won't rate it above a 7, because of that boring filler like shit, which is really unfortunate

If you don't enjoy something, remember that is it an adaptation. You should try the source material before fully judging content. You might like the Light Novel more.

imo that was important to explain some aspects of the Elder Tale game and the world itself.
And it also shows how younger players, with not as much experience as Shiroe etc, deal with different problems in a world like Theldesia. Cuz they don't know everything about the game they look at the world differently and I think that's interesting to see.

Agreed. The kids were necessary in order to avoid another amnesia protagonist. Both would have served the same purpose, but now the world building is put on the sideline instead of shoehorned in the main plot. They also introduced/developed two important characters.

Though, now that most of their internal conflicts have been resolved (or have been put in hold), their screen time feels a little pointless. The author could also have found another way to introduce those characters or even find a way to further develop the kids.

I disagree

It wanted to change up things and this was a bad way to do it

Just because it didn’t go your way is not a reason to be upset or hate that anime

Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.
