Tower of Babel, huh? It'll probably explain this unified language that the humans now have, just like the story of Tower of Babel, before the fall. We already know it isn't exclusive to humans, since Ena managed to speak, and Kuou couldn't talk with animals without gadgets.

I'm really curious to see where this is going. The battles are a little bit confusing for me to understand what's going on at times, but the overall plot is really intriguing. It's giving me some Planet of the Apes vibes, with all of the human ruins, and I'm already theorizing that there's going to be some sort of time travel or alternate universe to explain how these five humans wound up in the Animal Country while humans have been extinct for a long time there.

that's one theory but then again how would that explain how kuou wasn't able to speak to the animals like the other humans
