Demon slayer mugen train TV's Op theme Akeboshi performed by Lisa is named as one of the songs of the year for japan by Japan Record Awards.
It is also the most downloaded song by a female artist this year in its first week with more than 75,630 downloads.

Well deserved, there is part of song which gives me goosebumps everytime i hear it but yeah haters be hating from success of something and comparing it with other ops can't do anything about it and no fux given :)

I can see why. Demon slayer music in general is great. And lisa is one of the best singers in anime.

"Akeboshi" is ok, nothing exceptional, I won't go crazy about it and I won't have it in my MP3 playlist either, however, "Gurenge" (the opening of Demon Slayer S1) is a banger though, that's an awesome opening and she went all out with a bang on that one.

Akeboshi = 6.5/10
Gurenge = 10/10

Good for Lisa but this song isn’t anything crazy like gurenge. It’s good like every Lisa song but it’s not a banger.

I mean ok that’s fine. Ngl I love Lisa but this song is just kinda okay but good for her. Although I kinda wish other anime songs like My War, OddTaxi or Boy would take first place as those are all bangers and imo kinda deserve it more.

I'm very happy for LiSA! With that said, I don't think Akeboshi was one of the best of her works even. Even within this year, I found her song Yuke for SAO Progressive, far better. Just me ofcourse, but once again, congrats LiSA!

I thought no one was gonna even listen to the opening because everyone was just complaining about this season even happening, but I loved that opening and maybe it was the opening that made me like the serialized version of mugen train more than the movie version.
