| The whole convincing higher ups to not just kill the thing is another shonen trope that's been done plenty (Attack on Titan, Demon Slayer, etc.) and it wasn't a topic I was really invested in seeing Doron Dororon cover but like most of the familiar ground this series covers, it was well-executed fun. Even little details like Kusangi wagging his tail, Dora trying to lie for Operation Save Kusanagi, Heisuke being an absolute boss (I love him lying about authorizing Dora, and him demanding recognition for success), and Ginchiyo's grandfather being reasonable and accommodating. |
