I just finished season 1 and noticed this spin-off... Should i watch season 2 after or before this? does this have any spoiler?

It doesn’t bring anything and I don’t remember any spoiler. Personally I hated it but it can be cool if you’re up to some fan service.

Pretty sure Slime Diaries takes place between seasons 1 & 2 so there shouldn’t be any worry about spoilers. With that said though, I’d go ahead and watch season 2. Slime Diaries has nothing to do with the story at all really. It’s more for if you fell in love with the characters and want to know more about them and see them interacting in a very different genre than the show. It’s more like a sitcom. I did enjoy it though, but I do love love the characters.

it doesn’t really effect the story at all but I would watch after season one at least as it references it a lot. However this is literally just a slice of life show and nothing really like the main show so if you don’t like slice of life you might not enjoy it I loved it though ☺️

Edit: I guess it does show some parts of the town expansions such as farming etc. if your into the town lore .

I really enjoyed it. As long as you've watched season one it'll be fine. I loved how it looked and how wholesome and fun it was.

I think it takes place mostly in the time between the orc disaster and Charybdis parts. Doesn’t really matter when you watch it, it’s just some slice of life for extra info on what life is like for the citizens of the Jura Tempest Federation. It does introduce Zegion and Apito but I’m sure they’ll be introduced in the main anime soon enough anyway.

If you like the series and slice of life you should definitely watch it. After season 1 and before season 2.

why not? slime diaries is canon, the plot is written by the author of slime (fuse) himself

btw there are a lot of easter eggs in slime diaries

There is no spoilers. It only has characters that haven't appeared in the main series. The art style is marginally cuter though.

In the timeline this is between the 1st and the 2nd but there aren't spoilers of any kind . It's just a Slice of Life spin-off that can be enjoyed at anytime .
