The official website of the Summertime Render (Summer Time Rendering) television anime revealed on Thursday four additional cast members and a second key visual (pictured). The 25-episode anime is scheduled to premiere on April 15 at 12:00 a.m. on Tokyo MX and BS11, followed by Kansai TV. The anime will be streaming worldwide on Disney+.

Cast
Hizuru Minakata: Youko Hikasa (Hataraku Saibou Black (TV))
Ginjirou Nezu: Jin Urayama (Ao no Exorcist: Kyoto Fujouou-hen)
Sou Hishigata: Kensho Ono (JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken Part 5: Ougon no Kaze)
Tokiko Hishigata: Maki Kawase (Zombieland Saga)

Ayumu Watanabe (Komi-san wa, Comyushou desu. chief director) is helming the anime at animation studio OLM, with Hiroshi Seko (Jujutsu Kaisen (TV)) handling the series composition and script. Miki Matsumoto (Satsuriku no Tenshi) is designing the characters.

The anime adapts Yasunori Tanaka's sci-fi mystery manga, which is based on Tanaka's 2008 one-shot Jamais Vu, and began in Shounen Jump+ in October 2017. The manga ended on February 1 last year. Shueisha shipped the 13th and final volume on April 2.

The publisher's Manga Plus platform simulpublished the series alongside the Japanese release. Udon Entertainment licensed the manga in English on December 7 and will release the series in print.

Probably the first that I've ever heard that Disney+ will be streaming anime worldwide, though thankfully it's not an exclusive.

Good that a platform that other than Funi or CR is having this, though how it will translate into audience views is another matter altogether.
