| Not for me. This was one of the first yuri series I ever picked up, but I don't think it's aged all that well. The plot's kind of muddy and I honestly wish all the giant robot shenanigans weren't there. I feel like Bloom Into You and Doughnuts Under a Crescent Moon scratch that wholesome yuri itch a lot better. |

| I agree with both of you here, in part. First, I loved Chikane and Himiko. Anything revolving around these two’s relationship, I loved. Pure, for the most part, is an excellent word here. But the rest of the anime (the plot, the mecha) was kind of meh. Probably why the MAL score is low. Bloom Into You is my favourite all time Yuri, so I’m probably biased. But both romances are super wholesome, imo. |

Yuri wasn't it's selling point, it's not a high school Anime or a SoL. It was a proper action anime with all the emotions involved. Other than the infamous scene, it didn't fetishesize it. Chikane's love for Himiko was pure. There are better Yuri works but this is the best Yuri anime. Just to let you know for whispered words and bloom into you, it's finished in the manga and not at all unfinished(tho I guess that's why you said 'yuri anime') It's just for 1 season is not enough to fully adapt everything in the manga(highly recommend to read to manga till the end it's worth it) Kannazuki no miko is short hence its able to adapt everything. Otherwise I agree with you. Its something that held a huge impression in me |
