How does this anime have so many refrences to other anime that only came out recently?

Like literally in one of the OVA episodes (I think it was the first one) when they go to the movies, on the wall there are posters of newer anime, for example My Senpai Is Annoying, which only finished airing recently.

Because it’s a manga. Most things that they have as references is because most of those originate from the manga. Some many years before the anime is produced

It’s cool, but I think the anime is pretty unique for having that kinda stuff. Like in the normal series I didn’t know but they had Saekano (How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend). Pretty cool series

It's a manga & it's been out for a couple years. Most anime are based off of manga or light novels

Both titles came from pixiv before becoming manga. So the authors are probably friends.
