Dumb premise, fun execution. Basically what The Purge would be if it would've been turned into a sport.

This is great. Favorite of the season so far for me. The soundtrack is definitely a 10/10. A shame for the reaction on here.

I think the Tribe Nine franchise will be incredible because it's being developed by Too Kyo Games, and unsurprisingly, the anime is highly entertaining, so I'm really looking forward to reading the webtoon and playing the action RPG phone game (which I hope will also be released for Switch and Steam).

honestly, this didn't hook me. i'll keep watching but this first episode is already telling me that i probably won't be too keen on the rest of the show.

Do I know a thing about baseball ? No
Did I see the quite atrocious MAL score for a first episode ? Yes
Do I really care ? No

While it introduce us real fast on the background of the show, the episode itself was enjoyable. The characters were nice and without being extraordinary the show doesn't seem to be that bad.

Let's be honest, it's probably just a 12 episodes add for the game, would not be the first nor the last in its kind, and won't be the best anime of the season, let alone the year. But, while waiting the new episode of bigger shows, it has the potential to be an enjoyable in between watch.

That was interesting. I like the unique touch they gave to baseball. But I can already say it won't be as good as Akudama Drive for me.

The ost and the OP by Miyavi is awesome.

Alright, futuristic baseball play called XB or xtreme baseball. My knowledge over this sport actually tiny, not to mention this is 'new'. But looking at the character dynamic, and design, i think this first episode actually quite fun enough. I just shut my brain off toward the detail rule and such. Then enjoy seeing them, Boring, Tuna, and chonkymaru, having fun running around, flying to the sky, catching electronic ball, throwing ball with railgun, and then bat the ball with light saber. Nice!

Hide and seek is the best offline games on this fatamorgana-called-world-thing. Please comment nicely. I am newbie here.

Actually not a fan of baseball, but somehow baseball with futuristic bat and superpower kinda attracted me. Although it looks too colorful for such gangster anime, this seems interesting.

I wonder who is the main character, is the one called "boring"?

What a first episode. Imagine a bunch of gangs being like: ya sure, we will settle our differences with baseball.
Made me laugh quite a bit.
