I think the new few chapters are going to be very similar to how in Bleach early chapters Ichigo had to deal with the Hollow that killed his mother.

Sensing an axe, but I think it's possible they could power through. This mononoke is the reason Dora hates mononoke, and its large size contributes to a "final boss" feel
As others said, this yokai feels like Grand Fisher, which was only the beginning for Bleach. I'm kind of expecting the fallout from this fight to cause Dora to draw the Samurai's attention and have them go after him, not unlike the Soul Society Arc in Bleach. Which means there's almost nothing unique about this series lol
I do love the art style, and I hope it can last a little longer.

Dora is about to be blinded by anger and I'll bet the only one who can calm him down is Kusanagi. Hyped for the next chapter!
