I've never watched a Josei before.Can I still enjoy the show despite having no previous experience in it?

Probably a dumb question but I saw the cover art for this show and I read the premise of it too.It looked pretty cool but I have never watched a Josei before(First time hearing about it,in fact) and I did watch the starting minute of the show and the opening(Which is a good opening)If a Josei is targeted towards women who are in their teens or adults then can a 19 y/o guy like me enjoy watching a show like this?

you can cause the manga of this anime was my first Josei and I quite enjoyed it and I am also a guy

Yes you can. Josei is just the demographic, yes majority are women 18+. I am 32 old woman and I watch shows that guys usually watch. To me if it doesn’t matter if the anime is for men or women, if you want to watch it go for it.

Oh..I didn't know it was a Josei..
My bad on that part.I loved that show so much but I had no idea it was a Josei.

I actually think that doesn't matter which is the public that the anime is focused in, regardless I watched and still watch tons of yuri, josei, yaoi and everything else if it seems to be enjoyable enough....

Targeted gender doesn’t mean that much. It’s more of the age range. Josei and seinen are pretty similar compared to shonen and seinen

Yes.. You can.. I'm a female and watch Shounen all the time, why are you guys afraid of/reluctant to watching a show catered for a certain demographic?

I mean it's action-romance so I don't see why not? I read the manga it's aight homie these demographics don't matter except for Shoujo.

As everyone has stated, demographic barely matters in this day and age. It's just for formality but everyone can watch anything.

I red this manga before without knowing that it was josei, yet still I loved it. What I mean to say is that the josei tag never interfered in my enjoyment of the manga and the action is pretty cool.

If you enjoyed the time you wasted, then its not a waste of time.

Man, basically everyone watches shounen regardless of gender. I see no harm in trying out a josei, but the thing is this anime is kinda lacklustre so far

If you want to watch Josei shows start with - Honey and Clover, Kids on Slope,Rakugo,Kuragehime,Chihayafuru,Nodame Cantablle,Paradise Kiss are fun to watch
