| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This was a lovely follow-up to the already charming Baja no Studio from 2017. It's even more vivid and vibrant than before, and I just love the adorable character chemistry here. The sea sequences, in particular, are a joyous sight to behold. Honestly, I love this even more than the first one. I just wish both Baja no Studio OVAs would be bundled into one BD release cuz I would certainly buy it. I hope that working on this OVA brought hope and motivation to those working at KyoAni, as well as to the fans after last year's great tragedy. It's a wonderful way to remind people of the beauty and whimsey of animation, which is one of the reasons people become animators in the first place. |

| I certainly didn't like this one as much as the first one, I feel like the more typical children's cartoon story kind of ruined the charm. Also what is with everyone somehow just accepting the duck toy being sentient, that just felt off to me. |
