I have the first volume of the manga physically and I can see online that they play the pocky game near the start but it’s not in the first volume at all. And also online I am seeing chapter further ahead then in the manga. Just wondering if any of you guys know anything at it is very confusing to log on MAL

It's the problem with Web Mangas/Webtoons.
They often are different in the physical release than in their original version , and of course , the source material is much further in the story.

I didn't read this Manga (Be it Web or Physical) , so i can't help you with the order , but to track it on MAL , you should only track the Web Manga or the Physical release , doing both can be confusing.

By the way , MAL doesn't allow Web Mangas in its database , so this entry is supposed to track the physical release. (Not that people care , anyway)

Oh , then i'll develop a little bit my explanation.

Mangas are first published in a Magazine of pre-publication (Like the Weekly Shounen Jump , a huge book released every weeks , consisting of chapters from a lot of different Mangas inside) , one chapter per n° of magazine.
The chapters released in the span of some time are then collected to form a Volume.
Usually , those Magazines or even Volumes are scanned (So pirated) and uploaded online.

Web Mangas are different , they are just amateur-ish works that the Author upload online for some reasons. (Having fun , displaying his skills , trying to be popular...)
With some luck , they can get the chance to help of an official publisher , getting the advices of a professional editor , and finally , official physical Volumes.

Basically , Web Mangas are amateur-ish , while Physical Mangas are professional works , so they most often have a lot of differences. (It's also the same situation for Web Novels & Light Novels)

I knew about manga in magazine like ShounenJump but didn’t know about Web Mangas all that well. Thank you very much!

The version u r reading online is the webmanga. Read the published version of the manga online and u'll see it's exactly same as in the volume u own.
