Otamegane0988 said:In the Takt Op Destiny anime website, there's a Special page. Under Intermezzo (
https://anime.takt-op.jp/special/intermezzo/), there are interesting story extras of several characters. Sadly the language is in Japanese, but you can at least get the gist when you run it in a translator app. I tried writing down what I got from app-translating/listening/picking up what I understood ahaha ^^;;
Der Wille zur Macht: Anna's POV after the events of the anime, realizing she's all alone because Takt is asleep and Destiny/Cosette are gone. She decides to move forward after finding the music Takt created, "With Love". Btw, the OST during Takt/Destiny's scene at the beach after the final battle is this song. You can listen to it in full on
Youtube,
Spotify and
Apple Music.
秘匿音声記録: A transcription of Sagan's audio recording narrating why he decided to gather the D2 in one place. Pretty much how it was shown in the anime. He got tired of seeing people sacrificing themselves at his command. And he felt burdened that he was called a Hero)
The Dream Quest of Unknown Tomorrow: a POV of someone who knew about the Sagan's plan. Sagan approached them (I think it's an unnamed personnel in the Symphonica) so they look after of the hidden meteorites inside the facility. They admire and believe that Sagan's plans will bring peace.
from"The Adventures of Lenny and Titan": Titan's POV on the day she met Lenny. She was given the information about him beforehand so she knows that he is one of the survivors of the Boston incident (thus his pain/sadness). She decides to meet him with a big smile (like what we see in the anime SOBS this extra!)
あるシンフォニカ研究員の日記: A diary entry of a Symphonica researcher. They conducted interviews with active M/Cs but even M/Cs cannot fully explain how they are able to coordinate. There's info that was revealed in the anime - Ms fighting alone deplete energy quicker, but the presence of a C supplies/directs energy efficiently for the M. They remark that the research to understood Musicarts/Conductors is ongoing and slow, but they will do their best in their research.
ある少女の日記 (A Girl's Diary): Cosette's diary entry! We find out that Cosette was taken in by Anna's family. She was nervous about it but she's relieved that the family, specially Anna accepted her warmly. She decides to help Anna take care of a childhood friend next door. She notes that there's a beautiful piano in the house (and there's always someone beside it LOL she really says it's a ghost that's playing the piano). She remarks how he is not able to do anything besides playing the piano, but he really plays well. She also notices that the pendant she received from her mom brightens after listening to him playing.
定期連絡: Hell's letter to Heaven after the events of Ep 5. She reports that she met Takt ("you know that name and surname right?"), he has Destiny, a cute Musicart with him, he has talent as a conductor ("fufu, you might be drawn to him when you see him") and their team's on the way to New Orleans. From her writing she kind of makes fun of Schindler failing at trying to recruit Takt as a subordinate lol
『D2ならびに黒夜隕鉄と音楽の相関性』: Seems like an official document about the nature of D2. Black Night Meteorites are the core of D2, they react to music - audio recording, particularly strong for live performances. The document is written after the Boston attack in 2037, and recommends consideration of banning music. (I wish someone can translate this properly because the doc seems interesting)
D2対命第65号: A memo written on August 2047. It explains that Schindler will lead the transport of a huge black night meteorite - aka what we see on Ep 5.
「流通、回復の道筋。鍵は官民一体の事業戦略」: A news report on Aug 2047 about America's citizens/economy trying to get back to its feet again as D2 activity lessens. It mentions Las Vegas' efforts to land reclamation and corn production - aka what we see on Ep 4.
ニューヨーク・シンフォニカのガイドブックより抜粋: An excerpt about Symphonica from their guidebook. It is an international private organization. Currently, there are branches in New York, Genoa and Berlin. Sagan is the GM for the New York Symphonica.
ボストンの惨劇: A news report the day after the Boston attack. It happened at 6:30pm, and there were already more than 100 casualties as of the time of reporting, including conductor Kenji Asahina.
ザーガン宣言: Short transcription of Sagan's declaration in 2043 after the war where many D2 were defeated and went dormant. A speech about mankind being able to move forward, but music will still have to wait to be fully back again.
It was fun reading through the extra content. If there's anyone who translated this properly, please share because I would also like to read them fully :D
