This ep was on fire! It was another action packed ep. I love that Medusa easily blocked Yun Shan's attacks. Just as Xiao Yan was about to lose, his teacher came back and took over Xiao Yan's body.

Looking at the preview, it looks like Yun Shan will be struggling against the teacher. Can't wait to see him get wrecked LOL.

I like how Yunleng Sect doesn't take Xiao Yan seriously until they see his true fire lotus move. Gave me chills when he used it
I totally forgot about Xiao Yan's Laoshi, that moment made the entire first season worth watching alone.

I thought Yao Chen's white flames were completely extinguished. What is going on?

Another episode where Yun Yun is in pain and heartbroken =(. Please just give her a break already. Something tells me she won't be the final woman to be paired with XIao Yan.

I was also touched by HaoBoDong's care for Xiao Yan. He went out of his way to fight the clones even though he knows he won't be able to win. He is like my favourite character. I think even the other Dou Huangs with the sand is considering it might be worth to go against Yun Leng Sect.

I guess it's not surprise Medusa can't fight the other clones since her powers isn't fully restored yet. But another small detail I noticed is that she was only one who stood still and watched as Xiao Yan's power were increasing while the other Dou Huangs had to flee. Really love the details like this.

I like that this adaptation does justice to the source material, hope they keep releasing new seasons. The manhua is awesome too, it's a lot ahead of the adaptation though.

I've read the manga, but it was terrible compared to LN/Anime. Manhua's tend to make everything more childish (most manhua do this for some reason) and so the serious scenes become less impactful.

Absolutely agree with you, there is too much comedy in the manhua (and manhua in general) that just fills each chapter.

Yao Lao is back!!! Oh my god no wonder Yao Lao looked down on those cheap techniques that Xiao Yan wanted to learn back then! A fraction of Yao Lao's power matched the peak of Yun Shan.. we can only imagine right now, how strong Yao Lao was in his prime!

100% agree with both of you. For example, Douluo Dalu's manhua was really decent, up until a point where they started adding a lot of unfunny filler comedy to the manhua. The donghua doesn't have those comedy and it's 1000x better. I have no idea why the manhua artist gotta add unfunny comedy to the original source, just to make them worse.
