The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (light novel)
| If the show continued it would end up being a How I Met Your Mother type ending. Kyon, being the narrator, it flashes forward to "present day" when Kyon is telling his kids about it. Also remember sometimes when Kyon is narrating and then Haruhi answer him even though there is no way she could hear him? Maybe that's her answering him in present day while they're telling their kids their high school stories |
