It's always nice to see Touko-senpai taking time off and spending her money on actual Mino ware that can be said as valuable.

Touko's entire family stems in pottery, and that kinda exposes the pressure as she gets older to meet her parents' standards, especially her grandfather who has tumultuous amounts of influence on her. Family time is also important, and both Touko and her grandpa did clarify things out for her personal growth.

The red plate that Touko made was certainly quite striking in red base and gold brushes, to make something that she likes to do, without comparison. Himeno can relate because of her and her mother's connection in the exact same way.

Keep going at what you like to do.

The drama has ended, now we can make some fucking cups. Tho, that heartfelt talk of Touko with her grandpa was kinda shorter than i was expecting, still good.

Touko-focused episodes are always very interesting. It's nice that she made up things with her grandpa.

This felt like the end of a season before the credits and got super worried to check asap mal and see how many episodes were left just to feel some relief.

The scene transitions while Tooko had her talk with Himeno, with the talk not being interrupted gave me Monogatari vibes.

Ah, so thats her grandpa story. Blue for the summer is good, but the 'blazing' red of fall is good too. Nice say, grandpa, and its glad he's not that bad person, just not so good to communicate it wisely with her granddaughter. So, that time really the perfect place to clear the things out. Forehead-senpai also connecting it to Himeno's problem, which kinda true. Don't worry much, and confidence about what you like, everything will be fine.

Thank you from Naruse, and thanks from Kukuri-chan too. A very nice episode for all of them.

Get you a friend like Naoko. That definitely felt like a last episode, now that their problems have been resolved, we can now focus on having fun making pottery.

This was a great episode! It's good that Touko and her grandfather managed to resolve things. But something confused me: Why did Touko's parents tell her grandfather not to interact with her much when he was in the workshop? Did they want to dissuade her from doing poverty, or did they just want her to focus on other things besides pottery? That doesn't make sense.

Well, it seems Tooko's grandfather isn't the only one in the family who has ceramics for brains. Her parents aren't really that far behind.

Anyways, still glad things got solved in the end. Special mention to Naoko for always caring about her girl and to Mika for appreciating the fact of Himeno being able to help Tooko when she herself couldn't.

I'm glad for Touko senpai, the scene with her grandpa was really emotional. Hime chan crying after listening it was quite emotional too. I'm glad she's now back to normal. Nao chan looked adorable in her pajamas, she's a great girl.

The last scene with everyone was sweet.

Yep, that was refreshing. I guess that's kinda the end of this Touko's arc, and there's still 4 more episodes. Nice.
What a cool dinosaur onesie, it gave me a Yuru Yuri vibe.
Heart-warming episode. 5/5.

Aww... I'm just glad to see that grandpa was always looking after Touko even if he wanted her to pursue something else other than pottery but she always kept making them. Good episode.

After the realisation last episode, it's wholesome seeing the brief heartfelt moment between Touko and her grandpa.
