Did anyone else buy a skateboard and now skates regularly after watching this?

So after the 7th or 8th episode I decided that I’m finally gonna start skating. I visited a friend in Oklahoma and saw a skate shop, picked out some parts (with some help) and built it at the shop! I’ve been skating for over 9 months now and it has been amazing. Did anyone else go through this?

I had always liked skateboarding since past 2-3 year and after watching this show I liked skateboarding even more but we don't have a skateboarding culture here. It really sucks in my 18 years of life i had hardly saw ppl skating 3-4 times. I myself tried like 2-3 times.

I live in the middle of nowhere where the roads aren't scateboardable, so there isn't really a way for me to skate regularly. After finishing the show I definitely started liking skateboards a lot more though.

The roads in my city aren't even walkable so even if i did brought a skateboard i would only skate in my home

i actually wanted to start skating about 6-7 years ago though i only started now bc of the anime, the first time i had seen the anime was when it came out but after seeing for a third time recently i actually bought a skateboard, did it last wednesday (a week ago)! it’s a lot of fun :) gonna go skating now!!

I was already skating for around 3-4 years before the show came out so couldn't wait to see how a skateboarding anime would look, I don't have people to skate with anymore sadly so I don't really do tricks or go to spots anymore but still use it for getting around

My lazy ass just can’t get the hang of it 🤦🏻‍♀️. I took my brother’s skateboard as he doente use it anymore and trued during like a month but between college and work I barely have time and tbh I’m just so dumb that idk what I’m doing wrong

yes, a longboard and i love it 💗 i was always interested in skating but i was scared that i might not be able to learn it… turns out it’s way more easier than it seems at first so go ahead!!😍
