If they gonna announce a new season, it would sequel of the main series instead of MKNY, because the manga is still ongoing.

If they gonna announce a new season, it would sequel of the main series instead of MKNY, because the manga is still ongoing.

I tjought they may announce MKNY first for the simmer 2022 cuz of the very last scene of the 1st season. And also cuz I didn't know they were adapting the manga, i thought they were adapting the ln (that is over now).
Anyway, I hope they announce a sequel to any of those shows cuz I'm fond of them and I hope they get to adapt all the volumes and we wouldn't have to wait for too long like what happened between MKNR the 1st season (2014), the movie (2017) and the 2nd season (2020).

As far as the twitter announcement considered it might be January 2022, because it says winter, and winter in japan (anime seasons) means January.

Jimmy Stone, who is the assistant director of the show, said on his Twitter that it would be a TV series, so I'm inclined to believe his words
