Wow.That was a really great first episode.
This is the best year for original anime.Wonder egg priority got popular and now I bet Vivy will also be popular in the near future.
This is THAT anime that you would really want to see it in 360.
The happy song with all the destruction going around really made it soooo much creepy. If they started out with creepy music it would've been kinda boring.Who directed the ost is really a genius.
The 1st half was really entertaining but the 2nd half kinda got boring for me maybe because of that annoying virus
That man was so kind.I didn't expect him to say "Are you hurt" to an AI.He already became my favorite character.
All in all I can't wait for the next episodes to come.

This season we have Tokyo revengers,86,Vivy I can't choose between these 3 for the best anime of the season. All of these are truly great.
To your eternity is also gonna air tomorrow. This may become the best anime season of all time.

This is giving me strong Detroit Become Human vibes. Vivy is acting very much like a human at times I can't help but wonder if all AI are like this or is she just born special? The whole time travel virus thing is a bit confusing. So in the beginning the professor unlocked Diva saying she's humanity's last hope. Then apparently this same professor also created this Virus which somehow went back in time to give Vivy a mission. Who ordered for this mission and for Vivy to do this mission? The professor? Whats the point of unlocking Diva to save humanity in the future if he's just gonna have a virus time travel and have Viva stop the whole mess from happening in the first place? Since the future stills exists does that mean Viva failed? Or is the "future" the past and the Viva we're seeing now the present? And she's going to change the future? So would she create a branched off parallel universe or would she create a paradox? Am i the only one this confused?? Or am i just looking too much into this?

Solid start and a well presented premise. It's Terminator meets Hatsune Miiky, the anime. The production values are excellent.

Maybe it’s not the most unique story ever but it looks like we’re going to get a story nonetheless. Feels good to have another anime airing this season that is not episodic in nature but instead has a storyline to follow. Plus wit studio is at the helm for this one. I am down!

Okay, finally i have a spare time visiting this one. Then, one thing for sure, the visualization easily stunned me in the first place. First person view was nice to begin with. The way the project synched with the Vivy' time, back again to the normal view, and went by to the Archive place were a great direction. The voice acting for the two mc so far pretty solid as well. Vivy and her robotic voices sounded very natural as the Ai, while the future virus ai posessed in the poor bear sounded kinda annoying with his fast pace speaking. But overall its still bearable to understand.

The story premise looked promising. Its somehow keeps simple with everything goin on in these first chapter: let Vivy become an agent of change for the sake of a better future between Ais and human. Detroit become human vibe, i aggree with everyone above said, with a touch of musical element from Vivy, and a little outsider help device coming from annoying bear plush, Matsumoto. I may say that her song maybe a determinant for a later crucial point. But what kind of plot they use there before reaching the point? Lets see how well its goes.

Just started watching, but...

Near the end of episode 1... did the bear just say Diva's mission is to literally make it so AI doesn't get any sort of "human rights"?

So they basically wants to keep AIs as regular Robot slaves to save future Humans... hmm...

Interesting premise. These are not many animes about AI. I am not a big fan of sci-fi, but this episode was really good.

5/5 episode for me. Can't wait to see what will come next.

What an interesting one we have here, hope this keeps getting more interesting, because this is original there is potential to go both ways, but so far users seem to be enjoying this a lot, hoping for great things from Vivy...

(sub-title is really weird, I m not sure if that is how English works, "Fluorite Eye's Song", what does that even mean??)

So a war where the AI are killing almost all of humanity and the cause of this is all of them having the same rights as humans and an identity of their own? It may sound ridiculous, but I trust the writers what they're doing.

Hopefully the answers in later episodes or final arc will give a complete & plausible reveal with one of them being my prediction of someone who has gone berserk thinking the only way to make everyone to support the anti-AI movement is hijacking the AI's "central processing unit or program" to go haywire/malfunction & start killing humans. Or an extremist who sees the AI as useful weapons and believes the current Earth's resources isn't enough for overpopulated human race, leading to a radical solution: culling 90% of the global population.

Stunning visuals all over the place no doubt. The MC has a robotic personality, but that's who she is so I'm surprised there are two AIs who sound like humans naturally. Not to mention, the soundtrack and BGM is fitting for the series' setting & overall tone.

This series may not be for everyone as the violence is real graphic & I believe it won't tone down for future episodes. Let's hope our MC might change/become human-like in this hundred year old journey.

I like how Vivy is kinda like Miss Violet Evergadern but in a Carole & Tuesday type world. Vivy has a lot on her hands with trying to save the world too.

I'm amazed they fit all of that into 26 minutes.

I assume everyone is going to make the Violet Evergarden comparison? I can see it.

My jaw was agape through 60% of this episode- but funnily enough the only thing that made me go, "That's terrifying," was the idea of being stuck in the air on one of those rides while emergency sirens are going off.

If this show can produce a compelling story and in 13 episodes, rather that falling into a Battle of the Week type cycle, it'll be an easy 9/10 with potential for 10/10.

Out of the gate I am getting Psycho-Pass vibes. Though, the general juxtaposition in the opening scenes was quite good. I didn't expect to jump right in like this.

Not much happened, but the episode went by pretty fast for 26 minutes. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more of this. Should be a pretty fun ride.

Really liked how at the beginning of the episode, the number changes when she walks and the number gets red when she's on stage aka her programmed place to be. It gives you the feeling that she really is just an AI following the script. Looking good so far

wasn't all that interested in watching this. "a singing anime? meh," were my thoughts

but the dub just started and the ratings are pretty high so i figured i'd give it a try. and honestly, having who i presumed to be the MC singing in the opening scene while it was pure MAYHEM everywhere had me intrigued

the teddy bear is a fantastic character. really like the job the english va is doing

i'll give this a 7/10 to start, but it has potential to go higher

I dont usually post a comment in mal episode forums but when i do it means it either the anime peaks my interest or i really enjoy it.

For this one I think its both
Its a bit confusing at first because theres a girl or should say an idol that want to perform in main stage and make everyone happy by singing. Thats her main goal as a diva A.I but the plot would not revolve around her goal but in saving the world in chaos that will happen in 100 years. I thought it will be like Toji no Miko but with idols xD. With that I cant think of it how this will played out lol

As the ep progresses Im so amazed how the story unfolds in just one ep
Vivy is really interesting character!
Animation is spectacular and immersive to watch.
The story is unique and its genre

Why Im so late on seeing this ahh
I think this is one of the best anime Ive seen this season and maybe this year it depends how the things played out in upcoming eps.

So basically, Terminator and Detroit Become Human meet Hatsune Miku and Violet Evergarden's daughter, huh?

Not the best of first episodes. Filled with exposition and the teddy bear is kinda annoying. Let's hope the execution can improve as the story progresses.

Well, that was an intriguing first episode!

AIs taking over humans, certainly not the most common plot, that. Add to that, the time travel aspect which reminds me of Tokyo Revengers. I’d been hearing a lot of good things about the show from this season and I’m finally here to give it a shot for myself.

Fukuyama Jun’s performance from this episode alone was great lol, looking forward to more of their lively interactions!

Amazing animation standard and the music department seems pretty nice as well.

Holy shit, hands down, this has to be one of the best first episodes of an anime i have ever watched period. The opening itself, the upbeat idol singing on a
stage, contrasted to the panic and absolute brutal mass killings of humans caught me off guard by a long shot.

This episode's story board was absolutely mesmerising, again the chaotic opening, then the AI meeting Vivy claiming to be from the future and warning her of what would happen in 100 years, later proving it and watching Vivy act on it, and an amazing cliff hanger ending to top it off.

I love a good far-future anime due to the creativity studios can get with how open the idea is. So far the world this anime has shown feels very similar to "Plastic memories" with the Android, AIs, Detroit Become Human style, however the plot of changing the future to stop a catastrophe, and Vivy also achieving it through the use of singing, has hooked me much more.

Like i said, hands down, personally this has to be the best opening to an anime i think i have ever watched, i'm absolutely looking forward to where this story goes.

Strange logic by the bear. It's ok to save a life of a presumably influential politician, but it's wrong to save 400+random people on a single plane? It's not like Vivy was trying to prevent all disasters around the world. The human girl was just as important for her as the politician for the bear.

I mean, the future is already altered/influenced/changed. Saving a politician's life has much greater impact on the future than a single disaster-flight, or so it seems; so why make such a big deal from this???

I think I'm going to hate the bear.

This is like the anime version of Westworld.
“Why does an apple fall when it is ripe? Is it brought down by the force of gravity? Is it because its stalk withers? Because it is dried by the sun, because it grows too heavy, or because the boy standing under the tree wants to eat it? None of these is the cause.... Every action of theirs, that seems to them an act of their own free will is in the historical sense not free at all but is bound up with the whole course of history and preordained from all eternity.”
