anime or manga?

hey, I just finished eps 2 of this anime, so far I enjoyed it a lot. but I realized the manga rating is really really high compared to the anime, should I continue to watch the anime until eps 12 and read the manga, or just read the manga and not watch the anime.

I’d say watch the anime, they portrayed it really good

The anime did a great job, but the manga is much longer. I’d say once you finish the anime read the manga

I honestly recommend reading the manga from the start after finishing the anime. It’s way funnier

i like both the anime and the manga
so you can complete the anime first
and then read the manga
from scratch that is

I have read manga twice, and i can definitely say manga is better, but anime also did a great job, so you can go with whatever you want. But if you enjoy I definitely recommend you to read manga. Score probably higher because of some later chapters.

Short answer: Anime
Long answer: when you complete the anime and you still want to see more of grand blue shift to manga there's more chapters which didn't adepted for anime so far yet.

manga. i don’t know if it was just the content after the first season of the anime or if it was just that the series works better in manga format, but i way preferred the manga. i gave the anime an 8 and the manga a 9 and grand blue makes my top 5 manga

I recommend the manga, there’s just some things that can’t be animated. And while the adaptations is great, the manga is just that much better

Finish the anime if you want, but definitely read the manga from the start afterward. It’s 100 times funnier.

MANGAAAAAAAA YOU WILL SEE MORE TITANS and its unexpected to say that I underestimated it's comedy....I love gintama in anime but I love Grand blue more than gintama in manga

The anime is really funny but the timing of the jokes is a little off sometimes. The manga, however, is god-tier. Even if you've seen the anime before, you'll burst out laughing because the delivery is so good. The anime isn't bad by any stretch of the imagination and the VAs are amazing but it doesn't capture the feeling of the manga as well as it could have. The manga has these pages where two or three parallel jokes come together beautifully for one punchline and it's just :chef's kiss:. You just gotta experience it.

And I'm not one of those guys who always goes 'manga good, anime bad'. 'Asobi Asobase' is a prime example of a comedy anime that surpasses the manga and so is 'Golden Boy'. But in the case of 'Grand Blue', the manga just really is that great.

The anime adapts the manga pretty well so you could just finish the anime then pick up where you left off.

You could also start at chapter 1 and just enjoy the ride again. The manga has more jokes and builds them up a bit longer than the anime.

Btw the anime leaves off at chapter 21 of the manga.

I like the anime more but i havent caught up to the manga so i cant rlly say much ab it but both r really good so u could watch the anime 1st then read the manga considering how short both of them r
