I haven't been this ticked off since I saw Berserk. Both are left without a real ending. This definitely needs a second season.

So people seems like we have a deja vu of elfen lied, that same ending with create a lot of questions and leave this pain that saying there won't be continuation....it is shame cause i enjoying watching this production, and opening is realy awesome. See ya

The opening is not the best as a lot of people are saying.

The ending almost contradicts itself, almost like the creators thought "Crap, we wanted a special ending but we ran out of time with 'almost love' scenes and then we had to shove a whole 'So then she lived and omgoodness everyone was saved and oh no the monsters are back again' within 1-2 minutes."

Seriously, not much thought put into the show at all. A second season would be painful to me, just knowing that they are continuing such a show after that.

I'd actually prefer a remake of this which includes a more decent ending like they did with Phantom for the requiem...just a simple sequal would make this contrast in differences in art and story which really stretches things out too long where it can be easily condensed focusing on only key elements in the story rather than unnecessary elements such as random comedic scenes or fanservice in an anime like this which is mainly supposed to be dark, bloody, and simply kick-ass.

Also needs a new director...one with a better perspective of how to tell a story without summing everything up in 2 minutes (without a real ending) after dragging out a long drama for the number of episodes provided.

Any news on a 2nd season? They left that so open you could drive a mack truck through it. I enjoyed it, better than some I have watched recently. Oh well, maybe it will get picked up again. *grin*

I would like to see a sequel. But it looks like they ended the manga also after only 3 volumes.So I doubt this show will ever get a second season.
