| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This show just keeps on giving. I have to admit, with everything coming together now, it seems inevitable they're going to cap it off with everyone getting their time together as teh Digital World and Real World's stories are intertwined. This episode also gave me some original Digimon Adventures vibe as they face off against the final boss with all their Digimon at the strongest forms. Crazy episode. |

| The time has come for Negamon to strike...at the Real World. Unless the DigiDestined can grasp the situation, they're as good as dead in the Digital World as well. Negamon's evolution contraption that makes it a deadly situation across the globe is scary, it's basically untouchable. Taichi and Yamato stepping up the plate in the feather symbolism that's been presented in the OP since the very beginning with the DigiDestined's combined powers together to create the last miracle, the last power, Omegamon (definitely Our War Game vibes). This episode is just as good as the OG Digimon Adventure because of the final boss nostalgia vibes. Just 1 more week to go, let's finish this abomination. |

| I know I’m not crazy, wasn’t it originally listed with 66 episodes? Thankfully they did add that extra episode because no way it would’ve been able to be wrapped in one ep. Omegamon’s sequence gave me straight goosebumps. The remake’s had its ups and downs, but it’s definitely taken me back to the early 2000s on more than one occasion. |

I also really enjoyed this episode as it gave me Our War Games vibes with Omnimon and the kids around the world sending messages to help the heroes. You guys are not crazy. | Ah yes, let's copy the hopes and prayers from the original Adventure series but without having a single episode where they interacted with the ones giving them their support for some reason. It was also funny seeing how in one of the scenes they forgot to add the voice clip to a random kid whose mouth was moving, probably saying "We believe in you strangers!". Well, maybe the problem with that scene was the animation as it's very rough throughout the majority if it. Without the Omegamon sequence it would be among the worst animated ones from recent memory. Speaking of it, of course Omegamon appeared yet again since the focus of the series from the beginning was Taichi, the holy Digimon and sometimes Yamato because he is need for it to appear. The rest were relegated to the sidelines, portraying their minor contribution in comparison to the plot in general. An overall mess of an episode production-wise, fitting for such a remake which will now HOPEFULLY end next week. |

| Alright ngl the Omegamon evolution was cool. Besides that nothing really impressed me at all, because the hopes and prayers scene was much more impactful in the OG. Oh boy one more episode of this mess remake. The OG was always better. |

| so the finale is here next, it will be the last time I hear the OP, ED, or see much from the reboot tbh. I love digimon wholehearted, but I do not see myself ever revisiting the reboot, unlike the original 01-05 which I've rewatched all of many times. |
