| Hey, y'all! First time posting on a forum here in MAL :) Anyways, I just finished *Violet Evergarden* earlier today, and man! is it lovely. It made me tear up on some parts which aren't common for me, and if that wasn't enough, it almost made me cry (I squinted and teared up a bit... but didn't cry, promise O_O ) To be honest, I've been ignoring this on Netflix for months now since the thumbnail gave me fanservice vibes. Little did I know it was an innocent, genuine story about finding the right words to describe feelings and finding the courage to vocalize them knowing full well what those words truly mean. haven't watched the OVAs/Specials yet but am planning to. I do have a few nitpicks but the positives overshadow it. So that's some of my thoughts on VE. I'd love to hear how y'all felt about it so, please feel free to share your thoughts. Note: Please try to avoid spoilers for those who haven't seen it yet <3 |

| I am planning myself to watch the movie... But i think its gonna be sad, from what i ahve seen on twitter feed.. so I have been putting it off.. for a while now.. Kinda do not wanna cry.. |
| Yeah. I also postponed watching the Movie and Special for that same reason. I was about to watch it immediately after the series but, since I teared up on an episode, I'd expect the movie to make me do so even more. So I'd love to be emotionally prepared for that as well :) |

| Watched the anime, cried 8/14 eps, has yet to watch the movie. Dunno if im ready, but i gave the series a 10/10. |
