That was episode 11. Still 1 episode remains for the season. As for the question I think it is highly likely to recieve a 2nd season despite getting some hate in japan iirc.

No there won’t be probably a season 2 since most LN are just to promote the source material and only really popular ones like Slime or Konosuba got sequels. This isn’t a beloved series unfortunately

All anime adaptations are made to promote the source material, this reasoning is sorely misunderstood.

Probably this is not as popular as Oregairu was but it was fully adapted by Feel so who knows if they do the same with Bokutachi no Remake.

Can't say since this anime had mixed reaction. We'll just have to wait for the LN, BD, and Merch sales to guess.

It will come down to BD/DVD Sales. First impression and Japan overall reception was rather... bad.
Simply put, they didn’t like it, as much as expected (Technically yet another failed LN adaptation by feel Studio)
Not as rushed as Oregairu (Although they covered 4 Volumes in 12 Episodes) but still.
There’s still 5 volumes more and the author released Beta (Spin-Off) and still ongoing series, oddly enough, more popular than the original, obviously because the author has perfected and refined his craft but this shows there’s a lot of material to be adapted.
It will depend massively in the BD Sales boost (If there’s any) for the studio even consider to continue adapting the novels.

I liked this anime, through this I learnt many things, I want 2nd season of this anime.

Through its 2nd season we will overcome confusions. There were many confusions in 1st season.. Everyone future will be gonna be right.
