Haven't watch season 1 but i've heard abt the changes of the storyline and i also have known the reason behind it. I read the manga so i'm happy to see more of this.

Well now is the time for the author to make a new storyline that will be the bridge between original story in season 1 and season 2 so it will all makes sense. As we know the author promised that they will do this if the anime received a sequel since the reason why the story changed in season 1 is because the author itself didn't think that this anime will have season 2 so it is better to end it with original story rather than end it with cliffhanger with no guarantee of having the continuation. The reason why the original story in the anime is explained in the author's twitter.

Anw, the author must fulfilled their promise to the fans of this series especially the manga reader like me.

honestly the first season was pretty meh
I'm disappointed to see it's getting a second season. I'm assuming the manga must have been a lot better for everyone to hold it in such high regard.
I'm the kind of guy who reckons that anime isn't the ultimate format. Why does something need to get an anime adaptation to be truly appreciated, especially an adaptation this shit?

If you dont like it dont watch it.

You dont see anime viewers trashing on mangas do you so why must you do so for animes?

No ones forcing you to watch them. Plus no one ever said animes are the "ultimate format" so i dont know where you got that idea. If anything, animes are here to help sell manga/LN so you should be happy if one does happen.

There are more reasons that just liking or hating something when it comes to watching/consuming media. There's often more to learn about anime and storytelling in general from failure then there is from success.

I welcome a second season, but oh boy does it have a tremendous task ahead, salvaging the 1st season finale and building upon it. I sincerely hope that it would turn out great, but considering the situation where we left off the 1st season, I'm rather pessimistic about the future prospect for this show.
