bro this movie is so good like it's perfect, the animation, the background art, the characters, the story, the massages, yuki and ame dynamic, themes. the best anime movie i've ever seen since maquia. this is million times better than your name and a silent voice imo (i mention these movies because how high rated they're). what do you think?

Totally agree! Wolf Children is one of the best animated movies I have ever seen. It's definitely a masterpiece.

Since you said this movie is as good as Maquia, which is one of my favourite anime of all time, makes me want to watch this movie ASAP.

Complete bogus, easily one of Mamoru Hosada’s worst films, let alone a “masterpiece”. His style leads to a lot of ugly or flat character design and the characters are infuriating messes.

Tbh, of all the mamoru hosoda films I've seen, I didn't like wolf children much(although I enjoyed the parent-child relationship aspect of it a lot).
I enjoyed summer wars way more.

This movie really put me in a sort of mental dilemma.

At some points I felt like it's not that good, 7/10 at best while some other parts I just loved so much, simply describing them as beautiful would probably be an understatement, that forces me to give this movie a 10/10. Idk it's some sort of a weird feeling, it's like being reminded of being a child. Reminiscing about the moments you enjoyed with your family, your mother's unconditional love, everything just hits close to home.

Some people also said that they cried a lot during the movie. Personally I didn't find it sad or depressing. Instead I felt it was wholesome and beautiful. But I'll be lying if I say that I didn't cry at all. Because I cried when I heard the ending song. Yeah, go ahead laugh T-T
It was magical, felt like a mothers lullaby, it is a mothers lullaby.
Last of all, yeah the animation was also nice, it wasn't highly detailed but the 90's / early 2000s look was pretty fitting for the movie.
