Many people were quite negative about them in the second season. I actually liked them in both seasons.

That they are so sweet and adorable together. They have a good dynamic, chemistry and nothing feels forced in their interactions.

First season Kazehaya had more confidence. He seems to lose it in the second season and the misunderstanding between the two feel really forced which makes the progression a bit insufferable to me.
There's no need for all this tension.

The beginning of the second season pissed me off back then. Now I get to know the Shoujo genre more so I don't mind it now but back then when I'm just starting to start exploring shows.

I also doidn't like how they randomly introduce like a new character that was a rival for the main male guy (but that's how Shoujo works I guess).

I adore the first season but season 2 (excluding the last episodes) just pissed me off.

yep, that’s about as well as it can be put. and is it because they had a lot more problems in the second season, and that’s why a lot of people didn’t like them in the second season or something? That could be the only thing I can think of.

This show holds a special place in my heart, as it was the first romance anime I watched. So it is really nostalgic for me, yet if you look in a critical way, you can't deny that the drama in the 2/3 of the 2nd season was really forced. Especially when we already saw that much development between our protagonist in the first season
