| I started binge reading the series a few weeks ago and I'm so glad I managed to avoid the 2 year scanlation hell the series was in. Overall the series was ok,it didn't reach the perversion levels of the prequel which in imo was the secret sauce to the first series succes.Kunitoshi being completely unrestrained in whatever he wanted to do was one of the appealing qualities of his character,whether you liked it or not.In Aiki S Kunitoshi is a bit more laidback and mature which wouldn't be bad in and of itself,but when you pair that up with lackluster arcs that sometimes feel like cheap imitations of the prequel.It all just falls flat. I like to compare Aiki S to GTO:Paradise lost since both kinda have the same rehash of old plots in different settings with a different cast.Only big difference being Onizuka is still the same old Onizuka we have always known and loved.He manages to carry the series on his back with his usual antics.Kunitoshi on the other hand just feels a bit generic/boring now compared to his self in the prequel series. |

| Right, this sequel felt lackluster compared to its prequel. I guess I could say this one has the better ending though but overall it's not at the same level of entertainment. As a standalone, I think it's okay. |
