DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- With this storyline, it was obvious it wasnt gonna happen, but at least it appeared he had no regrets. I also cant help but feel she somewhat knew what happened and was or did hang herself against that tower. |

| Irving was conflicted from choosing between his duties or his morals but ended up having to keep his word after he accidentally gave her words of supposedly false hopes. He tried his best to get her out but the coachman was too loyal to let her get away. It was tragic to see him get killed for being a decent human being and seeing Lilly happily touch her scarf without any suicidal intent, unknowingly waiting for the worst to come was heartbreaking. Can't even say that I'm glad that she didn't try killing herself while he was gone. |

| I actually had hope this chapter. I had to stare and stare at the last panel to see if she hung herself but no, she was happy. She was about to be free. This was wayy too sad |
