why is this so unpopular?

I wonder why, this got like 3 whole seasons yet almost no one mentions or even knows anything about phi brain at all. i've never seen this being talked about since its release since 10 years ago or see it win any rewards, its surprising that such a mildly long runing series didn't really get any traction at all in the west. was it released at a bad time?

or did people just not like it in the west.

i only found this now since i was looking for things similar to the alice in borderlands manga and kaiji and found this by pure chance after hours of looking, i wonder if other people found this by chance as well.

I only could find it on Amazon movies for 60$ a season. can't find it on a streaming service. They either must be really strict with their licenses or amazon owns the show. I found out by the watching a top 10 of shows like no game no life. shows like control and phi came up.

@knightmare84 I watched the series on Crunchyroll in 2015-2016. It might just not be popular enough to be wanted by a streaming service.
