WTF are you going on about? DM was a horrible anime. The manga was so much better.

Seriously, I fail to understand why purists think that DM is the most amazing thing ever made. It was a plot-holed, filler-drowned disaster.

I've seen episodes of GX that were better than most episodes of DM.

5D's is the best executed of the three. It actually has a plot and sticks to it season after season. The writers actually care about making things make sense. I only wish that DM could have had such continuity.

And yes I will be seeing this movie. Shunsuke Kazama, KENN and Yuya Miyashita all in the same scene will make it worthwhile even if the villain is a throwaway.

GX began to be good near the third season with the King of Darkness (and the beautiful Yubel)
5D's is more serious and mature !

I agree!.. on some things..
Yugioh DM manga (INCLUDING first 7 vols) was awesome, probably the best YGO series ever made in general, the anime.. it had tons of fillers and memory world and dungeon dice monsters were different AND worse from the manga.
GX anime.. well it wasn't GOOD but it gave me this warm feeling inside, but more than half of the episodes sucked and were boring and all of this, season 3 and season 4 were pretty cool tho, the manga is 100% better than the anime.
5D's anime is very good, the new season isn't that good but it's still pretty awesome, the manga I have only read 1 chapter of so I can't comment on that one.

I think it goes like this
DM manga > 5D's anime = DM anime = GX manga > GX anime > Season "zero" (it sucked, the first 7 vols were good but the season "zero" (First series would be right way to say it) is pretty crappy.. lots of stupid fillers and plot changed and softened etc.)

PS. if you haven't been to 4th grade and haven't learned math there then ">" means that it's greater/bigger whatever (for example 14521 > 214 ; 2 > 1) and "=" is that it's equal. (1=1 ; 2x2 = 2+2)

Yeah, 5D is definitely the best of the 3.

Yu-gi-oh was already pushing the edge with villains trying to take over the world with a children's card game. It was campy, fun, so I enjoyed the series when I was young.

But with Yu-gi-oh DX, they take things further by making a school out of the game. Not just any school, but one that challenges the Ouran High School for "the biggest waste on money for non-educational related things" award. It's a frickin' children's card game, yet you don't see poker schools (where you can actually make a living).

Yu-gi-oh 5D's takes the cake by throwing in motorcycles while playing a children's card game. If Yugioh wasn't a successful series before, the producers would of slapped anybody who gives them this proposal. Really? Motorcycles? I can't wait for Yugioh D9, where they do extreme ironing why playing card games.

I fail to see how Yugioh DM being the worst.

I thought the trailer was pretty good! I want to see this movie! And I'll have to give 5D's another try sometime. Right now, I dropped it.
