I think this anime is a bit refreshing from the regular ones. i like the various scenarios that take place in each epp. although i have to admit that some people might get thired of the the constant "bad people go to hell" sort of thing, but you alteast learn something new every now and then.

I like it. It's quite educational with all those themes about the human nature, good and evil and things like that. Would have definitely been tiring if it was only about "bad people go to hell", but the great thing about this anime is that it also goes into more complicated and less trivial ideas... let's say: "The Road To Hell Is Paved With Good Intentions" :)

I like it. Although, I've almost drop this when I've first watched it. Cause the thing that bugs me is that, "Oh, it still the same!" But when I watched several episodes. I then recognize that, "No, it's totally different from the first season. This is very enjoyable!" Then, that's it! Although, this show is not enjoyable if you watch this in one-marathon. This show can be a very nice way of changing views from time to time. For example, you're watching an anime in one-marathon, you can snuck in 1-2 episodes at a time to change the mood. ^__^

More character developments here; and I really love it!

I haven't seen the first season of Jigoku shoujo, but there are most episodes that are tearful or somewhat aggravating in the 2nd season! But I liked the ending of this season, looking forward to the 3rd season ^_^!

Just finished it.

It was a cliffhanger! Looking forward for the 3rd season. I wanna know what happened to Enma Ai. This is really a horror one, it ends with another problem like any other horror show should be. ^_^

I liked the second season as much as I liked the first even if the same problems remain, viz: too repetitive. I am a bit afraid of what the third season has to deliver, though. As far as I can tell the ending of Futakomori was perfect in terms of closure and pathos and a new instalment might very well spoil all that. Guess I will have to wait and see.

well i think they might be done with the whole sending people to hell ordeal. since Enma is finaly free, they probably will focus on the new protagonist and have a persistent leading character on both sides, rather than different people each epp. the previous seasons were focusing on enma and her companions. to do the next season in the same way would probably be too boring especially since they brought resolution to the Ai saga. well just have to wait and see.

In my opinion, Futakomori was a nice change of pace from the first season. The 'episodic' feel still remains, but I realized that they didn't try to make Futakomori a horror show like the first season was. This time, it's rather philosophical. Enma Ai still pops out of nowhere but there isn't any drastic music or weird angles used to accentuate how frightening her arrival is (unlike in the first season).

My conclusion would be that I liked Futakomori more than the first season, because it's more insightful.

I really liked this show. It would've been way better though if the reason behind sending the person to hell was much more serious or backed up by... more stuff (Can't really think of the name for it). They really should've made the arcs longer instead of one episodes so that there would be more backbone to the story and their motives would appear stronger when they made the choice to send the person to hell, and not seem mediocre in our view (Which it has in quite a few episodes in the 1st and 2nd season).
Still a very good series and I would recommend it to my friends.

I like is show too, a lot, much better than the first season in my opinion since she doesn't repeat the same thing over and over again that it gets to the point when your tired of her saying it and in this season she shows some emotion ^^

Someone should seriously ad comedy to the tags, because I laughed at the end of about half the episodes. I mean like sending someone to hell because he scratched the paintjob on your car, that is seriously twisted. That's just an example though. But I guess it would only be funny to someone as twisted and cynical as me ^^. Another fun fact is how the one pulling the string is often so similar to the one that gets sent to hell. Adn the overall message of the series is pretty useful for real life too: Every good deed shall be punished accordingly.

I`m definitely enjoying it. And so far, the second season deals way better with the episodic format that was repetitive in the first season.

Just a question, if I really couldn't stand the first season mainly due to the excessive repetition, is it still worth my time to watch the other seasons?
