What happend?

I noticed a huge change in style and upgrade in quality compared to the other ones like bakemonogtari, Nisemonogatari, etc...
No studios were changed then what happend to make this upgrade at once?
Araragi's personalty changed a little bit with a few dramatic face expressions never saw him do it before.

Better budget. Also the director decided to remove all of his inner thoughts which gives it more if a “movie” feel.

His personality being a bit different is because this is a prequel before everything else happened. So he was younger with no experience.

I understood everything the only thing I didn't get was if he used to live alone since this is the past why is he in a different home by himself since in the bakemonogatari anime he lives with his two sisters on a completely different home so I was confused by that, Was it just for looks or did he use to live by himself?

The animators just make his house look different in Kizu. In the rest of the series, his house will look like in bake.

Yeah bet anybody would change, even slightly, from that kinda experience (plus we never knew what he was like, what he had gone though before, etc., so it gives a lil’ creative freedom for the cd/director to do whatever they want with his character (as long as it’s still “realistic”)

Because its a film with higher budget + Shaft.

So yeah its pretty good.
