For people that dont understand the ending.

And if thats not enough for people who dont know the person who wrote this isnt known as a person that resumes shows but he leaves them like this one.

If theres one thing i understood from this ending is that season 2 wont happen most likely and thats because the ending just sends a message of well, this gonna be an infinite loop of she likes him the other 2 likes him but they are too stupid and just gonna make plans how to compete each other, fuck me dude honestly what was i thinking when i thought to myself huh maybe this show gonna have a decent ending i mean after watching so many shows 1 of them gotta have an ending i would like right?

Doga Kobo is famous for not making new season for most of there show, including the top-tier one like Monthly Girl Nozaki-kun. Sure there are exception like Umaru, but those are the good show.

Is this show good? Its not a garbage dump. But if you think it is, you really need a brain surgery.

Which mean, if there are another studio that want to pick this up, like Brain’s Base pass Oregairu down to feel, maybe.

Sure, this doesnt mean Doga Kobo wont make a second season themself. But the chance are EXTREMELY low. Dont have high hope. And I dont even care if they have one or not.

Besides, as it was mentioned before Doga Kobo doesn’t do second seasons of anything so unless they change studio is highly unlikely.
Even if they do in fact change the studio, they wouldn’t have enough source material available anyway. This was a hit or miss project and they definitely missed.

Like while it was airing? Or maybe you referred to the poll last year that place it around the 10 highest sellers.
And being among the Top 10 LN in it’s genre (Which is not even hard since there’s not that many Rom-Com LN currently being published compare to dozens upon dozens of manga) doesn’t translate to a popular and equally good anime.
I have read the LN and is not really something extremely extraordinary. Pretty generic at almost everything.
And the Anime was like 70-75% faithful to the source, even keeping the monologues which is something that almost none of the adaptations do and it still wasn’t that good.
But as you pointed out, Japan likes it well there’s that. It will heavily rely on DVD/BD sales and based on streaming, broadcasting it didn’t show amazing numbers either.
Regarding the Top 10 in Japan.
Based on last month’s numbers, this are the most popular in Japan:
Yuujin Chara no Ore, Choppiri Toshie, MamaHaha, Kawaiikereba Hentai Demo Suki and Tomodachi no Imouto are the Top Rom Com series now. The last one getting an Anime next year and also being the #1 Rom-Com.
The polls you mentioned might have not been updated.
If it would get another Season. There’s not enough material available. Even if green light (Could get an announcement) it won’t happen anytime soon.
And you’re right, most of the times the new season gets announced a couple hours after aired or a week later as the latest. We will see.
