1. What mass of H Cl O3 is required to completely neutralize 12.8g of Ca (OH)2

2. Calculate the mass of hydrogen produced when 12.7 g of zinc is treated with 22.7 g of hydrobromic acid.

3. How many molecules of NO can be produced by the reaction of 65.00 g of NH3 with 150.0 g of O2 according to the following balanced equation?

4(NH3) + 5(O2) ---> 4( NO) + 6(H2O)

1) write out the balanced neutralization reaction where acid + base = water + salt
-convert 12.8g into moles of Ca(OH)2
-use stoechiometric ratio to find # moles of HClO3
-convert moles into mass

2) write out balanced equation: metal + acid = hydrogen + salt
-convert both mass to moles
-look for limiting reactants
-do as #1

3) same as #2 except they already give you the equation....

all basic stoechiometry problems work like this. Just follow the steps accordingly....

The endless debate between fans and haters. At one point, after spending a lot of time on MAL, you just realize it's totally pointless.

Test them by creating chemical reactions. Add another element to both the substances compared, and see if similarities result, like moles consumed, if they react, etc(alot to list)

not soo quick answer
