Dude I’ve been in love with this anime since episode 1 where we all got folded and forgot who the main character was xD it’s gonna get a season 2 but like most anime that aren’t in the limelight, it’s gonna he’s while, but if and when it does get a season 2 I’m ready! Last episode definitely had me sad and angry, sad for obvious reasons and angry because it was a cliff hanger

It doesn't announce s2, but it gives at least some numbers whenever or not s2 has even a chance.

If season 2 will come then I expect at least 1-3 years until the announcement.
Imo so far there is no good point in the manga for season 2 finale. Maybe after the current arc in manga concludes.

2nd problem is the death of Tsuruoka's VA who will play a much bigger role in season 2. On the other hand in the 1st season his whole job were literally 2-3 lines. So I don't think it's impossible for him to be replaced.

If they don't release a season 2 by the end of 2023 its pretty much going to be impossible i feel

Just watch anime instead of looking at forums

I'm aware that these sites are based purely on speculations there are a tons of them like this one regarding 2nd seasons of every show ever made i believe, but this one at least provided some numbers that's why i decided to bring this here.
Because when comes to asking for s2 then sales and popularity are sometimes what makes the anwser. And ofc if there is enough source material is another thing.

The main issue is that the publication rythm is quite slow, it's like a chapter a month I think and volume 8 got out a few months ago. Season 1 covers the manga up to volume 4 I think. So we might have to wait for it to get enough content for a new season

@Strykeryno well, this one says season 2 is most likely not going to happen. And it kind of makes sense because the show doesn't exactly have a huge fanbase.

Yea, it's been a way too long and the chances were slim from the beginning.
Also Crunchy Manga will be shutting down and the only alternate site is like 3-4 chapters behind, so we on top of it lost the only reliable site for official translations that always dropped new chapters 1-2 week after RAWs.
Luckily even though it's small it's still dedicated enough to make their own fan-translations, so that's at least something.

Almost no chance now - it wasn't particularly popular to start with, and was probably only done to try and boost manga sales
