Just finished with Psycho-Pass 3 and First Inspector. It was good. Still a shadow of its former self but not riddled with terrible logic and plotholes like Season 2. I liked Kei and Arata a lot more than I expected, same for the expanded Division 1 Cast new to Psycho-Pass 3 and am happy that Hinakawa got more a time to shine here than in Season 2. Wasnt a fan of the Mental Tracing aspect, kinda made it so they could write themselves out of corners or write themselves out of clever problem solving. Wasnt a fan of the extended 45 min episodes either, a lot more of Psycho-Pass 3 was seemingly filled heavy dialogue interactions that really bogged down the pacing of certain episodes; something I think smaller episode lengths could have helped avoid.

The Russian guy is suave but Arata was, well... He was not Akane, to say the least, also there’s a plethora of other reasons that make it a not so compelling character, too many convenient plot devices to help him out and the Mental Tracer seemed like bullshit but definitely S3 is much better than S2. First Inspector was a good ending or closure for this Arc I guess. Could have been worst.
Season 1 was perfect, there was no point to continue the story if it’s a downgraded version of it.
Hopefully we have another season with the OG’s coming back to make it great again.

Psycho Pass without Gen Urobochi should be considered a completely different show

I feel the same about this season, for me it was very enjoyable and i liked the two main protagonists.
It follows a different plot in the same world and i think Season 1 was more exciting, but its definetely better then the second one.

Amazon got the rights to it. It should be on Amazon Prime Video
