I kinda need to let this out but I feel so disturbed with Log Horizon story.. I don't know if the Novel have different story, I don't read it tho, so let's just talk about the Anime..

I think it was such a shame that Log Horizon story isn't always in serious mode.. well we all need some humor but that wasn't a humor at all.. I especially hate everytime it shows Minori's group like wtf are these children doing?? This is more like political story inside a game, we don't need you all.. why they have to be on so much screen time? I was kinda hope this should be more focuses on Yamato's political and reunion of tea party, but no.. Log Horizon Guild is only filled with bunch of kids and a weirdo Idol.. oh and I really hate everytime Akatsuki look so clingy like damn, what a waste, what is this chibi doing?...

This could be such a great story about Isekai or Game story.. everytime I see Shiroe's genius strategy, kinda remind me of Lelouch in code geass, and that was a great anime without bunch of kids and cringe humor and cheap romance.. the only moments in Log Horizon that was good is when shiroe bought the Guild Building Zone and created the Round table, also when he and Naotsugu and Silver Swords did the Full Raid and defeated it..

All things about cringe chibi assassin and Minori's group is nothing but a waste filler.. even as the filler it was so bad I always skipped it..

Seriously guys, this is my own opinion.. I personally like the concept of the story, it so good and feel so different like another Isekai or game storyline.. if ONLY the story could be more serious and don't involved useless children and clingy assassin, it would be great that I will watched it many times..

Sorry, but I just need to let it out. Stop with the children's screen time, throw out Akatsuki.. more focuses on how shiroe deal with Yamato's political and of course the reunion of Debauchery Tea Party.

That's it.

I actually agree with you, Minori's group kinda felt like have more screentime and development given to them than other characters or groups. I still enjoy the direction though it did get too political from my liking.

Another thing that I disliked about the recent season is all about the whole admiration and "romance" subplot between Minori, Akatsuki, and Shiroe, like it seems out of place.

I also would like to see more fighting like the last episodes from season 2.

Nonetheless, I stil haven't given up with the series. I am deeply invested with the world and Kanami's (or Konami imma need to correct this later) group. I also want other characters like the other guild leaders to have more screen time.

I used to say log horizon was the better inside a game animes
Now i cant stomach it

How did it go so wrong... so many breaks it cant build any tension it forgets half its plot points for mysterious handwaving. and then shiros godlike powers of world breaking contracts are... where exactly ?

The city vs city conflicts were dope but... i guess thats gone.
Phony election and fluff was the entire season ?

The kids are the main charaters are they ? I would gave preferred the other anime when the tea party was playing all these epic moments like maxdefense shiro leading the charge

the child adventures are all out lame.

Does it really matter when Deen took over it?? I mean they are only an animation studio, the directors are the ones making the story board. How about KONOSUBA Deen animated that anime it has a nice story and good animation??

I agree man, I was so excited to start this new season and when I watched Ep1 it kinda killed me. Put the inime on hold and honestly reading all of this makes me wanna drop it.

The direction of the previous seasons and their theme with the political side of the game world in an interesting way was something I really loved. But, what they started with really had a negative feel for this season. I'll be debating weather I'll give it another chance or not in the meantime.

This is something that bothers me since season 1. The political part and the the action part are great, introspective part is ok. But the slice of life in this show is out of hand, it feels like filler. And romantic tension is boring too, just make the couples come together already or give up this idea all together. I feel like this anime could have been one of my favorites but it just derails really fast.

I totally agree. Minori's group is TRASH. PLEASE REMOVE THEM FROM THE SCRIPT. I DROPPED THIS SHIT 5 TIMES BECAUSE OF THIS SHIT. But seriously I don't see any reason to give them this much screentime. I didn't read the source material , but if they have this much focus in the source mat too then I'd say the author is clearly trying to attract younger audience. But if he'd kept true to the story, he could've done so much more. The world seems huge and they could have taken so many other routes after the round table breaks but they just had to throw those little shits in. Like wtf

Man why am I the only one who likes the Kids also as a character goes Akatsuki is by far the best Shiroe is a close second and in truth I just don’t get it I actually like season 2 the best when the kids were most prevalent then season 3 where their was little fighting and finally season 1 where I barely care because lack of actual characters and to much fighting not enough politics.

I like the politics and slice of life I actually care very little for the action though I will agree that the romance isn’t good considering it’s a love triangle.
