There better be! There was something written at the end but I can't read Chinese at all so I have no idea what it said.... that was the most illegal cliffhanger I've seen in a while!!

I'm reading the novel and im at the 654 ch. The funny thing is almost everything happening at ep 26 does not happen in the novel as it is in the anime.

I got why they changed it and think its better than the novel as they put in the anime ( a first for me) while at the same time I agree it was a bad call to end it in such a cliffhanger. It feels unfinished.

I have translated the written part at the end of the video but it's just a credit. There weren't any information about a season 2 at the end of episode 26 :(

The Last Text says something "Swallowed Star Soaring Aspirations, Please Stay Tuned" atleast in the WeTV Official Subtitles, so i guess theres something coming atleast ;)

I think the next episode will come as a movie. In the official tencent website the trailers are given. But I hope there will be a second season.

I read an article. They originally planned to have 40 ish episodes for Season 1. However, due to China strict on story content, they changed to 26 episodes. China is very strict when it comes to real life content. As this stories did mentioned real life and not made up fantasy, it need to seek approval before release it. I think its quite admirable that they did this to avoid any conflict as the story did mentions the Great Five Countries. That is why, they changed the storyline. Usually, when creators deviate from novel, people would get angry. However, no one angry for changing but instead angry for cliffhanger. Even I agree that. Both novel and donghua are equally great. Just hate that cliffhanger. At least we have hopes. They will come back but just don't know when. Hope could see before year end.
