| Akame ga Kill's usage of reverse plot armor is hilarious, especially when they're trying to regurgitate emotional scenes out of each and every one when the build and characterization for each of them feels so hollow and underbaked, and the whole relationship with Mine and Tatsumi was one big example of it, which is why I was only finding it ridiculous when Mine was dead in Tatsumi's arms. Just comical for me. |

| Geez I didn't like the pairing at all lol. Mine was an alright character but the deaths always make me feel nothing because the characters haven't grown enough on me (except prolly Lubbo and Bulat they were pretty cool). The pairing didn't develop enough to make me feel emotional during their 'final moments'. Not how Tatsumi always surviving when he's the weakest;; The Esdeath falling for him plot was basically made just so he can keep surviving hhh they could've at least made his fight scenes cool, but I'm literally just skipping them since they're so boring ._. Can't wait to finally finish this |

| Tatsumi is saved but what's the price the Night Raid have to pay? Susanoo's and Mine's death along with a very weakened Najenda. Susanoo did well, against the strongest person in the kingdom with infinite ice manipulation and the ability to literally freeze time itself, he did really well to let the remaining Night Raid members survive. Now, for the absolutely most idiotic thing, I see... Mine's fight against Seryu a few eps back forced Mine to have to really go all out, being blown up here and there, falling off cliffs and being rapidly punched repeatedly, all that and sure, she did suffer injuries, but nothing fatal. Here, we see here is what? Thrown across the colosseum a few time and being electrocuted and then she died? Since the time Mine started to love Tatsumi, she's becoming the best female member of Night Raid, even better than Akame. Killing her off just as she confesses her love to Tatsumi is tragic, but the way she died is, pardon my language... Totally retarded, the epitome of rushed crap produced only to get cheap emotional reactions. Mine's death is the most ridiculous and most bullshit out of all the other members of the Night Raid who've either died a glorious death or a desperate death. The mang ana the anime is vastly different at this point and as things stand, the implication I got from this is that someone must've hated Mine to kill her off in such a dishonourable way. What a shame... |
