However yes, that can be a traditional Japanese "guest house", but I mean it's just the same house both inside and outside, also the street, garden and some small details. And the same name amplifies the whole. When I have some time I'll upload some screenshots. Yup,you can upload screenshots here. |

| No. Any real or imagined similarity is just coincidence. First, the name. Sato is one of the most common surnames in Japan. Likewise, Tatsu(-hiro) and it's variants are some of the most common given names also. It's basically like calling the guy John Smith. Second, the apartment. The basic design of Japanese apartments are all very similar. There are two main reasons for this. One, it's easier and cheaper to build cookie-cutter, mass produced housing. The living spaces in Japan are generally really small, especially in the cities, so there is not much variance anyway. Basically, if you've seen one low-income apartment building, you've seen them all. The other reason is the Japanese tendency for conformity. It's a cultural thing. It's really not that mystical. |
