Depends on where you are located. If you are in East Asia, chances are it would be available before April 20th in theatres.

There are at least 24 openings internationally scheduled before May 30th in theatres.

When the DVD releases and when the official English digital releases are not related. So you won't be able to figure out when the English dubbed /subbed ones will release online based on when the DVD releases.

Currently, there is no release date scheduled for the Japanese DVDs. But in the past, it would be in October. Usually, the illegal stuff comes after the DVDs are released. It is also undetermined when for the illegal releases too. Because you have to purchase an official copy, rip it, translate it, code it and spread it. It can take anywhere between 3 days to 1 months to whenever they feel like it. The English subbed version people usually see are the illegal versions.

However, there are theatrical releases of the English subbed versions in some countries.

If you are wondering when illegal subbed in English, then there is no definitive timeline. It will depend on how fast the fansubbers will work on the film. Like I said, there is no definitive timeline. For example, one year a Korean subbed version of the film leaked in August. So some fan subbers ripped that one and released a preliminary version before the discs were out. But do you expect this to happen every year? No. So you can never know when.


Here are all the possibilities:
disc out = rips out: Yes.
disc not out = rips out: Possible.
disc out in October: Most likely.
disc out not in October: Possible.

In conclusion: no definitive timeline because it is illegal. It can leak any day month year.
