| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- The OP animation felt a little lazy compared to the earlier ones. A lot of just character stills. The song is nice though. I am glad the focus shifted back to the main three girls. The first OP this season was so Seira heavy. The ED felt really slow, but the art style of the drawings was beautiful. Akari is so adorable. She is a character I can actually get behind and root for. I love seeing a girl that isn't instantly a perfect idol (like Kii or Sora, who were not even in the idol programs but ended up being amazing at it). Please shift this season to the new girl and Starlight and Mizuki and forget the first half ever happened, Sunrise D: |

| Will Ichigo, Aoi and Ran never age? I liked the new opening animation and song, it felt artistic like the last ending. And about the new ending... Not bad, it has a bit strange and childish animation (I know it's a kids show), but I'll get used to the song. Looks like Ikari will "change" her hairstyle, it's a shame since she's a better Ichigo than the very Ichigo. |

I think the animation fits since the EDs normally do something different in style, but the song seems really slow compared to all the previous ones, especially Calendar Girl and Original Star. |

| Akari didn't do that well on stage, but she kept her head up and continue to dance. Other entrants probably would've been overwhelmed by the errors they made and dropped out. Akari's personality also caught the eye of Ichigo. Ran/Aoi probably let Ichigo take the decision to accept her into SA. I didn't even notice SA having a High School dorm just a bit ahead of the main campus. |

| That was a very good character introduction for Akari. She is really Ichigo 2.0 but soon she also has to carve her own character so it's going to an interesting storyline for her generation. It really feels like Ichigo passing a baton for Akari. Her audition is so funny and charming with wuite a few misteps here and there. Getting back to the tutorial like the first time to play the game feels very nostalgic and I really miss Idol Activity to boot. Is it me or Akari is even more adorable than Ichigo? Indeed. |
