| I haven't read the manga, but going by the comments here I must say, WTF CLOVERWORKS!! This was one of the best studios in my eyes till last season, where they rushed through 2 highly anticipated shows, and it's happening to Shadow's House right now as well? If you don't want to make multiple seasons, just make one and leave room open for another one for other studios to pick it up. These guys are crushing authors' dreams here. |

| Great episode, if they skipped a scene that may be really relevant in season two, it probably means there won't be a season 2 and the series is like most, an advertisement for the manga. So manga readers feel free to not clog up the discussion with vague angry comments that can lead to spoilers and ruin the anime discussion for anime only watchers. Also as someone who has watched disappointing adaptations of manga I like too, it's okay to be disappointed, if you're shaking with anger than maybe ya need to chill out, that's not normal. |

| The episode starts with Barbara investigate the phanthom incident. And introduces Shaun, Ricky and Ram. The second half is about Emilico, Ram and Shaun being the ones doing the night patrol to derermine where is the phanthom soot originate. This episode has some weird choices of some scenes this episode like the veiled doll appearing. Overall the episode is good build up, for debut next episode |

| I am anime only for this one so nothing really seemed out of the ordinary. There are just still so many unanswered things and I feel like tha actual main plot haven't even been setup yet. It's been just world building so far. But if this really gets the TPN S2 treatment right out of the bat that's just sad. (since they cut someone important already apparently....) Anyway, if it ends up as a disaster I will just read the manga then. lol |

| That's an interesting deviation from the comic. Will future anime original scenes patch things up or will the story simply diverge from the original? I can't wait to find out. |
| I would like to give it the full season to see where it goes. Yeah it cut out a character, that doesn't mean it's a bad series, it's still enjoyable and building the suspense and the world. People on MAL are overreacting like people on twitter, without even watching the whole thing finish. Let's just wait and see where it goes. That said, this was a great episode, very suspenseful, they built the characters like Shaun and Rum alongwith Emilico and how she gets along with everyone. Waiting to see where the story goes exactly, it's really good so far. Hope the quality stays this way. |

| I just read that they removed a character, I don't know how much it affects the story but I think everyone prefers works that are faithful to the original, or at least without removing characters. Anyway, my perspective remains the same, being a supernatural themed anime and slice of life, I am seeing very little of this. We will see if it improves or worsens as it already happened in TPN, although I like that there are finally more characters |

| that was a good ep minus something really important they cut out lmfao. good points first, animation quality is still consistent so thats good, voice actors and sounds are also nice, i think another va might suit ricky better and im still getting used to shaun's (bc i didnt expect them to sound like this lol) but they still work. now to the thing they cut out, its really important to the plot so im kind of worried now. im just hoping that they'll replace it with something else ? bc i cant imagine it getting cut out with no reaction in the plot. |
| 4 episodes in, people already worried about the skipped content. Oh well if its the truth then, i can't say much about that rather than saying a condolence. Also, the veiled doll revelations also a little caught off my guard, ngl. Ah, okay. Anyway, left aside 'the missing part', they really did a well done job with the direction of the cooperation between those new night watcher team. New doll introduced with their unique personality. Shaun and Rum, eh? Their sudden interaction really needed to progressed the story telling. Emilico once again bring the mood to the whole new level. Sharing food, giving motivation, cheering them all, even relaxing the shy and weak one. All of them for the sake of solving the previous phantom mayhem issue that somehow got blamed to them by a brutal Barbie. Congratulations. However, its not very good for Emilico inner life as a living doll, when its come up to the Kate side, especially when she worried much for the incoming debut. Oh well, lets see how good the thing in the later episode. |

| Great episode! Barbie is a bitch damn, but I guess she's just doing her job and making sure everything is in order, but she do be mean about it. That was very smooth of Shaun to defend Emilico in his own way, while Ricky is a suck up. With that though, we have finally meet all the main characters I assume based on the OP and ED. Seeing Rum talk to her finger is really depressing. Also sad for Kate cause she's not having much time with Emilico. Really looking forward to the debut. |

| I thought were gonna have the grand debut this episode but we just got a quest episode which I'm not really mad about but i really can't wait to meet more shadows Also emilico is really sweet and also very naive and i doubt she'll be able to stay that way cause it's a tough word |
| Every episode that goes by, this show gets more and more heavy-handed in some of its aspects and it's honestly so distracting: in this case, Barbie's treatment of the other living dolls was excessive and over-the-top and that was clearly to make another obvious point about this situation. Logically speaking, some of the dolls will lag behind the others in certain ways and it feels like highlighting that here gets us a little bit closer to understand the true implications of failing the Debut. Veiled Dolls, huh. Wonder what the story is with them, given they can't speak and have their faces concealed; given that the living dolls are meant to be Faces for the Shadows family, my best guess now is that they become Veiled if they fail the Debut, rather than just being discarded. After all, they have to keep the living dolls fed so they can fulfill their duties, and they need some form of staff to handle that and keep them out of the kitchen and away from "trivial matters". Yeah, no surprise that there's booby traps in place to keep them from escaping the House. That just makes it all the more obvious what's really going on here, as if it wasn't overt enough already. |

| This episode was fine, but not as good as the previous one. The Scooby Gang of misfits solved the phantom problem and we learned more about how there are traps keeping the “dolls” from leaving. Emilico’s loud and overly cheery mood still annoys me a bit, but it’s an important part of her character. |

| Yay... the expected scummy kids are finally here. Barbie the bitch and dick-sucker #1 Ricky. Anyways, still a nice episode overall. Shaun is a bro but Rum is so hopeless I can't feel anything towards her yet. The scene with her talking to her finger as way to keep her mind stable was kinda sad tho. And as for Emilico, it's okay to be cheerful and all but man, I wish she could be less naive and more aware of the situation she's in. I mean, she's practically a slave and almost died because of a trap that prevents other Living Dolls from leaving/escaping the damn house. |
| The introduction of more annoying characters is very exciting!!! I've heard a lot of complaints about CloverWorks skipping manga events again. Gladly I didn't read the manga, so I found this episode very enjoyable. I might have to read the manga soon tho. |

| I really loved this episode. I got so nervous when Shaun and Emilico were going into the hallway. Speaking of Shaun, I really like him, a very good character in my opinion. I see many people complaining but as someone who hasn't read the manga, the story is going very well. You gotta understand manga and anime are two different forms of art. Anime adaptions are never exactly like the manga. |

| Shaun and Emilico were in a similar situation as Norman and Emma. Can't wait for them to get another step closer to the truth. Looks like other shadow masters are not as friendly as Kate is with her human doll. After learning from the manga readers that they changed one scene in the anime, now I feel like it's better to just be anime onlys for cloverworks anime. I already regret watching Yakusoku no Neverland S2... |

I rather think they have lesbian kissing sessions,,,YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES Emilico was so cute and kind to Ram and really seems to like her. She should invite Ram to join her and Kates study/lesbian kissing sessions,,,,YEEEEEEEEEEEEEES  |
