from Kaguya sama

which makes it even worse that an rich, middle aged womanizer is going to take his love away

why would they introduce a character that is literally better for the girl in every way possible and makes ryo look even worse?

now ichika will seem really shallow too when she chooses the creepy old rich guy over this straight up highschool kid who has genuine feelings for her

Ryo ia 27 and who are you to judge if his feelings are genuine or not?
And yes Ichika will choose the rich guy cause she loved him for the person he'll become at the end of the show and not because he's rich or smth, stop projecting.

Tamaru is good character, he deserves Ichika,But just cause a lot of guys love her doesn't mean they all should get her.

I dunno though, Unlike Tamaru, Ishigami is an Anti-Social type of guy that gets easily disheartened.
I can't see any similarities though

He....isn’t rich....? He seems like any other working class corporate guy & their home seems humble enough?

In synopsis: "affluent genius playboy"
Sister describing him in episode 1: "hot, smart and with money"
Anime shows him having a high rank position in the company.

...Try to pay more attention?

His character is designed to be the typical trifecta of women fantasy stories (money, looks, brain) with a twist that makes women feel "vulnerable/dominated" (e.g. the dude from 50 shades of grey is into BDSM which the girl slowly gets into it, the one from this anime is a harasser and the girl slowly gives in, etc).

Any spectator can reach conclusions based on what the story is showing, do they need permission from you to create an opinion? lol. The male MC got instantly infatuated with the girl just because she called him "creepy". Any sane mature person would recognize that as a simple toxic obsession, not that he suddenly "genuinely" cared about her.

Lol. Have you worked a day in your life. “Sister describing him in episode 1: "hot, smart and with money" ofc Rio would describe him as “with money” as compared to them, he’s a working adult. Pretty sure she didn’t mean that he’s loaded. “Anime shows him having a high rank position in the company.” High rank position? He is obviously mid-management & considering his age & the period of time he has probably worked there. High rank? If he’s high ranking he would have his own office. Even if he did, he’s at most middle management. Clearly you are unsure how a corporate world works.

...Try to read through nuances? Lmao @ you taking every single thing at face value. Pretty sure I pay more attention than you going around to troll & bait others in similar threads. Don’t fucking talk down to me.

the sister literally said
he is loaded

All those mental gymnastics just because you can't accept the possibility that you somehow managed to miss such a simple aspect of the show that is clearly given even from the very synopsis? lol

Here, let me give you a few more sources in addition to the ones I already mentioned, this how the male MC is described:

エリート社会人 (elite member of society), official anime website in Japanese
sex-crazed but highly eligible bachelor, from manga via ANN
high spec businessman (MAL manga entry)

^ All of which is clear to anyone paying attention to what is being said and shown in the anime.

I mean he was even shown having work-related phone calls in English from episode 1, that's another hint you may have missed. A typical Japanese office worker is not expected to even know english at all lol.

But who knows... maybe even the official anime website also don't know "how a corporate world works"...

Lmao, imagine being you, trying your utmost best & putting in so much effort to constantly be condescending to strangers online. You must be real fun at parties.

I didn’t say his rank wasn’t important or doesn’t make him an “elite member of society” are you saying mid-management can’t be a “high spec businessman”? And if you really want to strawman me — if he’s so rich, why does he take the subway (where he & Ichika first met) don’t give me that crap about public transport is convenient. It sure is, but if he were really that rich, he would have his own ride.

I just meant that he probably isn’t as rich as OP thought he was. But sure, go off.

I appreciate that you're asking "a bit" more politely than last time.

I'm quoting other sources simply because otherwise you would say it's just my interpretation of the anime (which I aready gave)...

You still seem to question the meaning of words... maybe a more literal one would help? Look, from the official character description in the koikimo website:

高収入のエリートイケメン, high-income elite handsome guy

About your question on the train/car, people in Japan working in central/congested locations such as Tokyo usually don't commute on their cars even if they have one (unless they're like millionaires that have a chauffeur, bodyguards and stuff like that, but the MC is not supposed to be like that). Being on time is of utmost importance in Japanese business culture and getting regularly stuck in traffic is a sure way to ruin your reputation (excuses won't matter much) and put your job/career progression at risk.
^ you can confirm this by asking an adult Japanese person.

Honestly, not sure why you have such a problem accepting the MC having money. His character is rather simple on what he is supposed to be: money + good looks + smart (josei story trifecta) + trash with women.

Anyways, if you still think he's your average office worker, that's ok I guess. Have a nice day.

Good question. I think they're just using him for rivalry. It's your usual love triangle. Keep in mind that the audience is probably teenage girls for the majority, so Tamaru doesn't really look like the better option to some of them. It's going to depend on the viewer I guess, but I personally think that Tamaru is the better match for her for so many reasons.
I sometimes forget to finish my sentences.
