| THIS IS A LIGHT NOVEL ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS VOLUME. ---------------------------------------- Shit goes down in this volume! The cover is gorgeous as usual and the first half of the volume had tension but we got some good moments between Alice and Iska with the whole bed thing which was hilarious. The second half was super action heavy with Iska facing off against a stronger opponent then he's ever faced. I actually really like Elletear as a villian, because it must seem so "fake" for her when the country that's supposed to be a haven for witches treats her like this. She just wants to watch the world burn and I can kinda acknowledge that reasoning, doesn't need to be much deeper than that. But it does seem like the Zou have a much more deeper reason for doing this, as they might see it as saving the world depending on what the situation with the planet is. Honestly I'm hyped for the next few volumes now because the plot has finally arrived big time! |
